2 NEW LOWE’S HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES SET TO OPEN 1ST QUARTER ‘09

(December 2008) – Hull Storey Gibson Companies, LLC continues to expand its longstanding development relationship with Lowe’s Companies, Inc. The company plans to open new stores in Carrollton, GA and North Richland County (Columbia), SC during the first quarter of 2009. The respective projects represent the 33rd and 34th locations developed by HSG throughout the Southeast over a twelve year period.

Both stores will contain approximately 150,000 square feet of retail sales area including a garden center. Upon opening, each new facility will generate over 100 new jobs and will represent a significant investment of $20 million plus in its respective trade area.

With over 1,600 home improvement stores in operation, Lowe’s (Lowes.com) is the second largest home improvement retailer in the world. The company was founded in 1946 and is presently headquartered in Mooresville, NC.
